The exclusion from the tender process for the German Research Network DFN is established similar to the expulsion of the U.S. tender: Hawaii’s chief had once held high military offices in the People’s Republic of China – the West has apparently afraid of espionage. Huawei Germany now responds with a public opinion and attempt to cast not offended.

The Chinese company, which in many European suppliers such as Alcatel and calls Nokia Siemens Networks trumps, rejects any safety concerns.

Reasons for exclusion Huawei’s are in the public procurement procedures for the technical equipment of the German Research Network “probably next to the formalities and security concerns about China’s network equipment.” The German subsidiary has 10 years active in the German market, has had no opportunity to confront these allegations in an open dialogue.

This count is “due to the high safety and quality” of its solutions 45 of the 50 largest carriers worldwide to its customers and can demonstrate experience in the field of safety technology. And at least you still care, without which occurred vulnerabilities, since 2005 the DFN.

Browser market Google Chrome sets worldwide

April 14th, 2012 No comments

Especially in the Anglo-Saxon world is enjoying growing popularity Webkonzerns browser. Not for long and the utilization rate could those of Mozilla Firefox catch up.

Several market research and Web statistics attest Chrome a noticeable growth. The most optimistic numbers from the perspective of Google , there is the Internet evaluator StatCounter . According to its most recent annual measurement (September 2010 to 2011) is 17.73 percent globally on Chrome usage share . Firefox is at 29.6 percent. In some Internet media has erroneously been a near-tie between Firefox and Chrome reported, but that applied only to individual markets and individual months, not the more serious global statistics in the annual comparison. Sun Chrome for example, could in some summer months in the UK to catch up with Firefox, but at holiday times can creep quite statistically inaccuracies.

Internet Explorer still holds an annual average 45.19 percent market share, but only for the previous month into consideration, this value fell to 41.7 percent globally from already. This should be clear trend (last minus 13 percent). The question is: If in future Mozilla or Google to Microsoft first pass? For the Anglo-Saxon way is already the year expected to Firefox over Chrome is easy to push. In Germany there is no danger – here is the Google browser holds steady at just under 11 percent.
